What Can I Do?

Be aware! Check out the material on the Organizations section of this website. Expose the truth about modern-day slavery. Make sure everyone knows the 27 million dirtiest secrets.

Pray – …for the victims …for the traffickers …for the church …for increased awareness …for governments. It is easy to be overwhelmed by the issue of human trafficking and think that we cannot make a difference. But do not forget that each one of us has at our disposal the most powerful weapon of warfare – and that is prayer.

Give – your time, money, donations. Send an email asking for specific ways to be involved locally.

Lobby for anti-trafficking laws, ask corporations to practice fair trade

Look for the signs of human trafficking! If you suspect a problem, call the hotline 888-3737-888.

Shop intelligently Be an informed consumer by finding out where products come from and the conditions of those who make them before you buy. Choose products that adhere to fair trade principles and support vulnerable communities. Don’t buy products you suspect are made in sweatshops or by child labor. Don’t support businesses known to exploit people.

Be an abolitionist!

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.” Ps. 89:14
